The mask‑type firefighting infrared thermal imager integrates the thermal imaging module and the display module into a self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) mask or a firefighting helmet, seamlessly combining infrared imaging with near‑eye display via wireless transmission technology. This enables non‑intrusive retrofitting of the thermal imager onto the SCBA mask.
The infrared thermal imager can capture thermal images, visible‑light images, and data from Bluetooth peripherals, performing real‑time processing, storage, and transmission. It not only streams data in real time to the pressure‑display unit but also transmits it over a 4G network to the rear‑area command center. The near‑eye display module of the pressure‑display unit handles data processing and visualization, fully freeing the firefighter’s hands and enhancing rescue efficiency.
